Missing disks and strange boot behaviour

Featured Replies

Evening All,

My unraid server rebooted today, and when it came back up 4 of my disks are missing.

I have the following in my unraid syslinux config:

append iommu=pt initrd=/bzroot

I'm hoping this isn't a hardware failure! I upgraded to 6.7.3rc2 and it didnt make any difference.

Also, If I boot and leave it to boot normally on the blue screen to unraid, it says:

loading bzroot.. ok

loading bzroot(random characters)... Failed : No such file or directory

if i select safemode of gui it seems to load, but still missing those four drives.

removing the above line (append iommu=pt initrd=/bzroot)

results is a failed boot that stops on a line that reads:

---[ end trace 7c9523f71dcfb5e2 ]---

i'm still able to boot into safemode, but still without the missing drives.

Diagnostics are attached. Any help is appreciated. REALLY appreciated.

Problem is the Marvell controller, since you don't appear to be running any VMs disable VT-d and the missing disks should come back.
