Anyone using the lsi 9207-8i?

having some issues with the 9207-8i controller. No drives are detected. are there any additional settings required to get it working. I have tried in unraid and a windows machine.

Are you sure you have the correct cables? There are 2 varieties that have physically identical connectors, but are wired differently to go from individual ports to a drive cage, or from a card like you have to individual drives.

Yes, you need forward breakout cables, reverse breakout won't work.

Can't say by that, they don't specify if they are forward or reverse, like mentioned they look the same.
