August 2, 20196 yr Not sure why unraid isnt recognizing my ups. It worked fine on my windows PC. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this setup?
August 2, 20196 yr Community Expert Try unplugging the USB cable, wait a few seconds and plug it back in. Double check that both ends of the cable are securely plugged in. (The UPS end of these connectors is often quite easily disconnected.
August 2, 20196 yr I have a similar connection issue with my ups and get that error as well. It only works for me when the ups is plugged in from the start of a full cold boot. Warm reboots will get that error.

August 3, 20196 yr Chicony Electronics not the UPS ? Does plug/unplug would appear again ? If lsusb couldn't found it, you may try insert a USB hub between them to found help or not. Edited August 3, 20196 yr by Benson
August 3, 20196 yr Did you try the various other options for "UPS Cable" and "UPS Typ" in the Unraid UPS Settings ? The connection is most probably not standard USB. Also it is possible that there is no Linux driver for this exact UPS Typ (At least the data sheet says that is only compatible with Windows and Mac running the appropriate software).
August 4, 20196 yr Author I'm going to buy a new cable and try that. After further investigation it now doesnt pickup on my website windows pc. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
