steve1977
I just realized that only part of my ram is being identified by Unraid. I have two 2x8GB and one 2x16GB. So, I should have 64Gb available. Unfortunately, Unraid only shows 32GB. Any way to trouble-shoot this issue without going into the Bios (my Unraid runs headless and it's quite some hassel to access the bios), Quote Link to comment
senrab
What motherboard do you have? It may be only have a max of 32gb. Quote Link to comment
itimpi
UnRAID just takes whatever RAM the BIOS says is present! Quote Link to comment
steve1977
Can Unraid help me in trouble-shooting what's causing the issue? Or do you have a best guess? Mobo should not be the issue: M/B: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. PRIME X299-A Version Rev 1.xx BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. Version 0402. Dated: 06/13/2017 CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-7800X CPU @ 3.50GHz HVM: Enabled IOMMU: Enabled Cache: 384 KiB, 6144 KiB, 8448 KiB Memory: 32 GiB DDR4 (max. installable capacity 3072 GiB) Quote Link to comment
itimpi
Unraid cannot really help. This will be a motherboard/RAM compatibility issue or a BIOS issue. The only realistic way to troubleshoot will be to have a keyboard+monitor attached to the server and boot it into the BIOS to see what it is reporting. Quote Link to comment
