Unable to boot after power failure

Featured Replies

Hi,

My unraid server will not fully boot now after a recent power failure. I am getting the error message "unable to mount root fs on unknow bio" see attached image. Is something wrong with my flash drive? A corrupt file? If so how to I fix this? see attached image

Do you have a backup of flash?

Your configuration is completely contained in the config folder on flash. If you can copy that folder onto your PC you can prepare the flash again as a new install and copy that config folder back onto it.

I was able to get the config file off the USB and made a new install onto the flash and copied the config. It seems to be working now. Thanks!

You can download a backup of flash at any time from Main - Boot Device - Flash - Flash Backup.
