Impossibly slow connection to server after 6 hours

Hi,

 

I have a 10gb/E and 1GB connection to my server that is lightning fast for browsing folders accessing dockers etc but after about 6 hours the connection becomes impossibly slow.  I realize this is possibly a Windows issue as rebooting my Desktop or disabling the network connection and re-enabling them resolves it but just thought I would ask in here in case anyone else has experienced this themselves?  I re-installed windows about a month ago to try and see if that made a difference but sadly not.

 

my unraid server is a AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2950X 16-Core @ 3500 MHz and my Desktop is an I7-8700
