Read check only 1 HDD

Featured Replies

Hello,

Been searching on Google but can't find where to define the disks to read check with scheduler.

I have 2 disks with no parity and a SSD cache.

Actually read check only is performed for 10TB, and each disk is 10TB so it should read check 20TB.

Thanks

Scheduler currently only works if there is parity, you can still launch a manual read check.

Total size refers to the largest disk in the array, it will check both disks at the same time.

Thanks for your help!!! I configured scheduler manually.

I have 2 x 10TB disks and 2 TB of free space.

I'm thinking about add a parity and an extra HDD to get 10TB more.

I'm right thinking to add 3rd HDD and after add the parity one? I mean for faster parity build. I think parity first and extra HDD later will be 2 parity calculation.

Thanks

No, but the added disk would need to be cleared, though now that's done with the array online.
