I was thinking that the current available forum reactions "Like" and "Upvote" were a bit redundant. Should we add others to be able to react to posts with? If so, please vote and send us your feedback here! Thanks

More appropriate reactions:

Like

Laugh

Agree

Disagree

Helpful

Beer

FacePalm

WTF!?!?

Any of the neutrals i dont see the point in as its the same as not clicking it in the first place.   Sad i dont like as its an implied negative, and i don't think that negative reactions are something suitable for a community as supportive as this one (exception though if you can set where its possible to have negative reactions for, i don't know OTOH @CHBMB then I'd be all for it)

But, the Haha would be a great addition (and keeping with IMO the tone around here), as much of my points are not so much for being helpful, but where I'm instead being humorous, and that detracts from the users whom are being genuinely helpful.

It would be nice if some of the reactions could only be available in The Lounge or other general discussion areas, in order to keep the help-based areas streamlined. XenForo has that capability, hopefully this forum can at least do the same.

I will look into if that is possible. Great idea.

Does it really matter?

To some people? A great deal.

To me? Not really.

To you? Apparently not, but why rain on somebody else's parade?

In the big scheme of things, no, but if it helps some people on here, why not?

finally the important things get addressed :P

Alright- I'm going to experiment with taking away "Upvote", leaving "Like" and adding a "Haha" and "Thanks" to keep things positive around here. As always, if you have feedback or comments on this, feel free to respond here or DM me!

Cheers

If I wanted to go about with upvoting comments, I'd browse Reddit. I like seeing posts in order and the troubleshooting that happens that either leads to results or nothingness. Same goes for general conversations.

You'll still see posts in order here. No worries there
