August 13, 20196 yr Hi all, apologies for being new to this so I might ask questions that have been answered before but I could not find the right entry via google. So I did an install of unraid as described in many articles but I did that while no drives were in the server. When I mounted drives later and created the array I ended up with: unformated data drives (2x) parity drive that seems to work fine (no errors on it) 2x cache drives in a default cache pool but also not formated And as you can imagine since it wasn't able to format the drives there are no shares created either. So how would I fix this? Oh, I tried to get the diagnostic file and it was saved but I cant find the zip, not kidding.
August 13, 20196 yr Author Lol, found the tick next to the format button now, was looking at the GUI mode and when login in via another device this box was visible. So format is done
