August 18, 20196 yr I’ve got a great deal on a solid combo that has powered my unraid server for over 2 years flawlessly. Only reason I upgraded was to get a larger motherboard because I wanted to addon a GPU. The motherboard is an ASRock E3C224D4I-14S. It’s MiniITX so will fix basically any case. What’s great about it is that it supports 12 drives without extra addon cards! 4 via SATA connectors and 8 more via onboard SAS controller. It worked great for transcoding several 1080p streams with plex so not under powered. Also includes the Intel OEM heatsink and fan.
