(v6.7.2) Looking for an automated file manager

Featured Replies

I love unRAID. It's the heart and soul of my digital world and has been for the better part of a decade. I'm finally getting around to automation and I've run into a wall. I'm using Davos to download completed files from a seedbox. I then want to use filters (regex, plain text, whatever) to put them where they belong. I did some research and Krusader came highly recommended - while an awesome tool, I wasn't able to find anything capable of the automation I'm looking for.

My ideal state would be every hour (or whatever set interval), it checks a specific directory and, based on file/folder name, moves it to a designated folder. There's no way I'm the first to want this but my google-fu has failed me. I could do something similar with davos using like 30 scheduled jobs but that sounds like a hack job and I'd rather do it right. Any tips on a plugin or docker?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks trott. I took a look and it appears to be based on YAML, with which I'm not familiar. I may circle back to this after I'm done getting my brain around python if I don't have another option.

Flexget can use Regex though I found that YAML was easy enough for me to manipulate the files.
