BigNasX
I want to upgrade my current motherboard and cpu to a e5-2670, 32 gigs of ram, and a rx470 and gtx 970. I am planning on running a gaming VM on the rx470 and a yolov3 VM on the gtx 970. Will the xeon be able to handle all of this? Or should i get a dual socket board and 2 xeons? Thank you in advance for your help. Quote Link to comment
hotstovejer
Well, the e5-2670 (v1 I'm assuming? You didn't mention it.) has 40 pcie lanes available, but I don't know how many actually are available to the pcie slots after the cpu takes some. Will you also be passing thru an SSD to each vm or were you just thinking of having them stay on the array? Quote Link to comment
