August 28, 20196 yr Hey all, Wondering if anyone can assist. Completely new to unRAID and had my HP Microserver Gen 8 up and running for around 5 days with no issues. Decided to give the server a reboot. and now the machine wont boot into unRAID. i've connected a monitor to the server and I'm getting a "end trace" error I've attached a screenshot of the error... any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks, Edited August 28, 20196 yr by MrMooreIOM
August 28, 20196 yr Community Expert You need to get a standard file extension (.jpg, .png, etc.) on that image file. (By the way, you should be able to paste any standard image file directly into the body of your post.)

August 28, 20196 yr Community Expert Two things to try first. Shut the server down (Pressing and holding the power switch should do that). Pull the flash drive, plug it into a PC and run chkdsk (or the equivalent) on it. When you put it back in to the server, use a USB2 socket. (USB3 sockets are flaky when booting Unraid with some MB/BIOS combinations.) If it does not boot then, reboot and select the Memtst from the boot menu and let that run for 24 hours.

Tried all of the above, was convinced the USB had failed. Created a new UnRAID USB and copied over the bz* files and it seemed to boot. No idea how that solved the issue but it’s seems to have fixed it (atleast temporarily). Thanks for your assistance though :)
