Hi.

I seem to be having a strange issue with my cache drive in which share files seem to be staying on drive.

I have marked all shares yes so it can try and transfer but when I try it doesn't do anything.

Logs below for 2 attempted moves.

Sep 1 17:37:11 Media emhttpd: req (13): cmdStartMover=Move+now&csrf_token=**************** Sep 1 17:37:11 Media emhttpd: shcmd (3597): /usr/local/sbin/mover &> /dev/null & Sep 1 17:37:11 Media root: Manually starting mover Sep 1 17:37:11 Media root: ionice -c 2 -n 0 nice -n 0 /usr/local/sbin/mover.old Sep 1 17:39:17 Media emhttpd: req (14): cmdStartMover=Move+now&csrf_token=**************** Sep 1 17:39:17 Media emhttpd: shcmd (3603): /usr/local/sbin/mover &> /dev/null & Sep 1 17:39:17 Media root: Manually starting mover Sep 1 17:39:17 Media root: ionice -c 2 -n 0 nice -n 0 /usr/local/sbin/mover.old

Yes, installed Mover Tuning to see if it could help, but no dice...

Its really strange, as seems to be holding onto a set amount of media files, and not moving from the cache..but if I move new files that go to the cache, it will move them onto the pool (but not the old ones).

I am guessing by changing the settings at a point in time, the cache seems to think it needs to maintain these files.. changing the shares to Yes, No, etc doesnt seem to move them.

Whats the best course, go to Krusader, move them somewhere else, and then back to where they should go?

Unraid has to 'memory' of previous settings so it is going to be something else that is stopping them from being moved.  Using Krusader is a viable way forward but it will mean that you do not get to understand why will not currently move.
