DaMAN
Hi, Ive searched however still not 100% clear as to best practise around physically rearranging an existing arrays harddrives into different slots within the array Can anyone help with a step by step breakdown? Quote Link to comment
JonathanM
Unclear what you mean. You can physically move drives from port to port and unraid will not care, unless you have a controller that happens to mangle the serial number drive identifier. Physical port has zero to do with slot number in unraid. If you wish to change the logical slot a particular drive is assigned to, that is more complicated. Quote Link to comment
DaMAN
Basically I want to rearrange where the drives are physically located including parity within my 24 slot chassis Quote Link to comment
