Good Day Unraiders!

 

I have recently setup an Unraid based PC and am scratching my head with a HDD detection issue. 

 

I have a HBA card (LSI-9211-8i) in IT mode with 8 HDD connected. All are being recognized except one. I have moved this HDD to all other connections on the HBA and it isnt recognized. 

 

Now the odd part. When I connect the HDD to the motherboard it is detected fine, passes preclear and extended smart.

 

Back on the HBA, if I remove the problematic HDD and use another HDD from another PC it detects all 8. 

 

Has anyone come across this before? Am I missing something?

    Hi Constructor,

    Apologies for not writing back sooner. I've attached two diagnostic zips. One with the HDD connected to the MB and the other with it connected to the HBA.

     

    If it helps, the HDD in question is a TOSHIBA. I have two of them connected, but only one of them has this problem.

    Try updating the LSI firmware to latest, p20.00.07.00
