mbc0
Hi, I have a spare Pi4 knocking around and got thinking about using it to access a Windows 10VM on unRAID? Does anyone do this? is it viable? Thanks! Quote Link to comment

itimpi
You can also use the VNC client included as standard to access the VNC interface to VMs without the need to install special software inside the VM. Having said that RDP (or an equivalent) is likely to give snappier graphics performance. 1 Quote Link to comment

Lots of thin clients including, I think, VNC, don't handle sound well, or at all. Quote Link to comment

Have sound on a VM on Unraid working remotely using RDP so I think it's possible but I'm afraid it is probably going to prove to be a pain. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
itimpi
It might be worth trying out NoMachine as I see they have clients specifically for the Raspberry Pi and in my experience NoMachine gives better performance than Microsoft’s Remote Desktop. 1 Quote Link to comment
snoopy86
Try this http://thinlinx.com/. I'm running VM Win10 on unRaid which is in the basement and use rPi as a thin client. Works perfect. 1 Quote Link to comment
