Parity for mixed 512e / 4k drives

I've looked around but couldn't find an answer to this specific question:

 

Although drives have independent filesystems the parity is block level. Is it a problem if the data drives are mixed 512e / 4k? I would assume this is handled properly but want to check.

 

Assuming it's fine, is it more ideal for the parity drive to be 512e or 4k in this setting?
