November 7, 201015 yr I wanted to change out my current cache drive with a new drive. What is the right way to do this? I was thinking: 1. Stop the array 2. Unassign the cache drive 3. Powerdown 4. Replace cache drive 5. Boot up 6. Assign cache drive 7. Format the pre-cleared cache drive 8. Start the array Is that right or is there another way? I know the cache drive isn't in the protected array, but I didn't think I could just pop it out an pop in the new one... Thanks.
November 7, 201015 yr Other than copying off any existing files on it that have not yet been moved to the main protected array, you've outlined it exactly.
November 7, 201015 yr Author Great, as usual thanks Joe. I already copied off my "hidden" .install directory and made sure the rest of the cache drive was already moved by Mover.
