Unraid freezing up every 5 to 7 days. needs hard reset

Featured Replies

every 5-7 days my unraid server is unresponsive.

The system operates normally for 4-5 days then the web ui is unreachable and I have no way to shut the system down other than a hard reset by holding the power button down for 10 seconds.  I sometimes preemptively shut the system down and sometimes it hangs and nothing happens after the waiting 90 seconds line appears and I have to hold the power button down.  Other times it will shutdown fine.  I've attached diagnostics and the syslog pulled from the flash drive on one of the last freeze ups.

Thanks in advance for any help.

P.S. I posted this before but had trouble uploading files.  Mods please delete the other post

See if you have the syslog server (I can't remember exactly when it was added to Unraid).  You would find it   Setup   >>>>   Network Services    >>>>  Syslog Server   Use Unraid's 'Help' to set it up to log to your flash drive.

I would also suggest that you disable logging of the the mover events  Scheduler    >>>>  Mover Settings    as this will remove a lot of 'noise' out of your syslogs.
