I did New Config, now system, appdata, domains shares free space are small

Featured Replies

I'm still experimenting with unraid, so I did New Config to delete the current array.  Now some user shares are showing free space that is very low.  I have 24TB free for some shares and only 978GB free for "appdata", "domains", and "system".  Please advise.

Thanks!

With those shares the default settings will mean that they are located on the cache drive, so that probably explains what you are seeing.

It's a pool of two 1TB devices.  Should they stay on the cache or be moved to the array nightly?

Typically you want them left on the cache for performance reasons.    You can use the CA Backup plugin to make backups to the array at intervals defined by you.
