September 18, 20196 yr I am sorry if the answer to this question is available elsewhere, i have not been able to find it anywhere. I have an array of 8 disks in different sizes, with two parity disks of 6 TB. In my array i used two old 6 TB disks that have now failed more or less at the same time. I bought two new 8 TB disks, but can i do a parity swap on both disks at the same time, or how should i approach this?

September 18, 20196 yr Author Wow, quick answers, thanks 🙂 I am relatively new to unRAID so is there a better alternative? Edited September 18, 20196 yr by Parly
September 18, 20196 yr Community Expert You can always do one drive at a time. It is not a requirement that both parity drives be the same size - just that they are both at least as large as the largest data drive. Edited September 18, 20196 yr by itimpi
September 18, 20196 yr Community Expert If the replacements disks are larger than current parity it's IMHO the best option.
