September 20, 20196 yr Ok, this started with issues last week discussed in this thread. Well, today I rebooted my server and it took WAY too long to boot up. I attached a monitor and saw the attached screen. When it did come up the array started ok, but after a few minutes I got a notification saying USB flash drive failure: 20-09-2019 17:19 Alert [STORAGE] - USB drive is not read-write Ultra_Fit (sda) So....time to replace my usb stick? Diagnostics attached. storage-diagnostics-20190920-2128.zip
September 20, 20196 yr Community Expert What I would do is (1) Get a Diagnostics file. Tools >>>> Diagnostics (It appears that your do have the GUI working.) (2) Shut the server down. Pull the flash drive out and plug it into a PC. Run chkdsk on it. If it is bad, you should find errors on it. Try to make a back up copy of the flash drive. The files in the root of the config folder/directory are the most important ones as they contain the basic settings of your server. The remaining folders are primary the Dockers and plugins. Report back with your findings and get steps to move on from here. Do you have a recent backup of your flash drive?
September 22, 20196 yr Author I scanned the thumb drive, it had errors. I tried to boot off it again and it took like 20 minutes for the server to come up. Did a flash backup, restored to new thumb drive and the server booted in under a minute. All issues seem to be gone.
