September 22, 20196 yr Hello guys, I am not new to unraid but i am not an expert ! So, I watched the spaceinvador video on how to install rclone on unraid and sync it with google drive "I have unlimited space on Gdrive" my issue is, I cannot access my unraid in GUI mode because since I installed unraid on my server. I only used it through the web GUI. I dont even have a monitor connected directly to it. I only access it through my laptop using web GUI. My question is, can I still authorize rclone to use Gdrive? In the spaceinvador video, he only explains doing it through the unraid GUI mode. but, I was wondering if someone can tell me if there is a work around? Thank you so much in advance
September 22, 20196 yr Community Expert The Unraid GUI is identical whether run via a web browser on another machine or the web browser loaded locally when booting in GUI mode so it should not matter. I suspect the vast majority of Unraid users run it in headless mode.

But, spaceinvador in his video said specifically this must be done on the server GUI mode not from a laptop connected to the server!!

I have just looked at the video and I can see that if you are going to follow the steps in the video you DO need to boot in GUI mode for the simple authorization process. There is a statement that authorization can be done without using GUI mode but no details are provided as to how. You may find that the easiest way forward will be to temporarily attach a keyboard+monitor to your server to carry out this process rather than research how to do it remotely.

I hear you... but the problem is my server is one of those old ones that require a screen with a weird connection... so many pins and stuff like that...i dont know what they call it... seems like an analog old connection
