Snyc between 2 Disk with a Docker

Featured Replies

Hey Folks,

fiist let me say sorry for my bad Denglish.

I'am trying now few Dockers, but i dont found one witch will do what i need. So, i will snyc data from one Disk , to another Disk wich is connected with USB. Docker like Sync and Syncing don't work with folders on the same / other disk. Or Config Error between my side ?

Have anybody a hint for a docker witch work like snyc/snycing but with folders on disk ?

Thx KinGSiZ3

Are you are talking about syncing content from an array share or disk to a removable USB drive when that drive is plugged in?

If so, see this first post in the Unassigned devices plugin thread.  It describes how the Unassigned Devices plugin works and gives an example of a script that runs automatically to backup the Pictures share when an external USB drive is plugged in.  Of course the 'Pictures' share could be a share that spans array disks or you could substitute an individual disk (/mnt/user/diskX) and/or folder path(s).

Depending on exactly what you need to do, you can modify the rsync command with additional parameters as well.

I am not exactly sure based on your description what functionality you are looking for, but, the above could meet your needs.
