Seems like PIA pushing some IPv6 routes which is not recommended, please add these two lines to you config:

pull-filter ignore "ifconfig-ipv6"

pull-filter ignore "route-ipv6"

Thanks! I went back and tested my OpenVPN configuration with these lines added, and between deleting the ctl block and adding these two, the config is working again.
I appreciate you taking the time to help diagnose the issue, since it seems to stem from outdated vpn provider configs, not anything with the container.

I'll look into this but this will take a few days weeks since my PC is currently not working.

Hi,

I am running your portfolio performance docker. It recently updated from v0.80.4 to v0.81.0, which seems to have been sucessful:

---Starting...---

---Checking if Runtime is installed---

---Runtime found!---

---Version Check---

---Version missmatch, installed v0.80.4, downloading and installing latest v0.81.0...---

---Sucessfully downloaded Portfolio-Performance---

---Preparing Server---

[...]

However, portfolio performance does not come up, when I try to access it. I get the following error in the log:

Please do the following:

  1. Stop the container

  2. Delete the folder runtime and bin from the main directory for Portfolio Performance

  3. Start the container (will take a bit longer)

After that everything should work again.

Worked perfectly, thanks a lot for your swift help!

I'm not sure if Tailscale is the right choice for that since each Client must be connected to your Tailnet which kind of defeats the purpose of RustDesk.

The Cloudflare Tunnel costs money, at least if you want to tunnel UDP traffic AFAIK.

However it is well enough to just deploy it and open the ports in your Firewall, most of the times it is best not to overthink it since this is just the Server and Relay part from RustDesk and if encryption is enabled (which it is by default) then nobody else without the key will be able to connect through your Server/Relay and the processes inside the container are not even running as root inside the container.

In the end you can set it up like you want it but I can't give support for complicated setups.

Appreciate the response, apologies as this was put on the backburner for a moment. Going to investigate this deployment some more today to test an instance and see what the best path is to attempt to deploy this.

Will most likely reach out as additional questions come to light.

Thank you again!

Hi Ich777

I understand you are not taking requests for new images, but I was hoping you could advise on a template I made using your existing VRising template. I have modified the template and such and it shows as installed, but it iss:

1) possibly installing to root as I see the folders there

2) is creating the folders in appdata but not installing the files in the folders. Was there anything specifically you had to do to get things working with steam?

Im attaching my template, again, I just need advice on how difficult it was to get the install to work, and if there's anything i can do to make this happen. I think I have everything correct. But I dont' know why it installs to root

Sorry, but first of all this is the wrong support thread, secondly I can't help with that since I don't know how this dedicated server is working/starting in general and I don't know/own the game.

Thanks for replying.

So as an alternative I used your other code here:

https://github.com/ich777/docker-steamcmd-server

My commands are below. It installs, files are in the correct directory it says start server, but it shuts down no errors

docker run --name Voyager -d \

-p 7788:7777 -p 7789:7778/udp \

--env 'GAME_ID=3937860' \

--env 'GAME_NAME=Voyage of Nera' \

--env 'GAME_PORT=7789' \

--env 'UID=99' \

--env 'GID=100' \

--volume /mnt/user/appdata/steamcmd:/serverdata/steamcmd \

--volume /mnt/user/appdata/voyager:/serverdata/serverfiles \

Ahoy! Cheers for all the hard work on the docker images.

Been doing some searching and I can't really find anything definitive. I'm using the Owncast image, and I can't for the life of me get the Intel VA-API thing working.

My device is running on an Intel N100, I'm on Unraid 7.1.1, I've installed the Intel GPU TOP (2025.10.29) plugin, and recursively changed permissions on /dev/dri to 777, and added /dev/dri as a device to both Jellyfin and Owncast. Encoding works just fine in Jellyfin, but doesn't in Owncast. I even tried running Owncast as privileged with no success.

Is this possibly a problem with Owncast?

Just after some advice for trouble shooting Luckyback did an update recently and have profiles running correctly but having issues with email report after completion or errors. Can send test email fine but the report just won't seem to work not sure what changed in latest release ? Running 7.2.3

looking at logs have this error when use GUI interface so maybe an error in UnRaid ? This could be causing the email logs not to be sent although the test ones work ok ?

Any hints or clues appreciated.

Has anyone managed to get the jdownloader2 docker running through gluetunvpn?

If install to my docker network jdownloader2 works perfectly, however if I try to route through gluetun, jdownloader errors saying port in use (I don't actually see it in use anywhere, and I have tried to change it but it doesn't seem to change).

Why not use GlutenVPN <-> ProxyServer <-> jDownloader2 (of course configuring jDownloader2 to use the proxy)

Not sure I fully understand (sorry)

I have quite a few dockers running through the gluetun network, but jdownloader seems to think the port is in use if I do this.

r/unRAID - Port in use when using GluetunVPN

Even if I try to change the webgui port it always says this ^

I would recommend that you use an additional container something like a ProxyServer and then you simply can configure jDownloader2 to use the Proxy which is basically using the VPN.

Because if you change the port this is just the port exposed on the host.

You have to changethe RFB Port, which is basically the port which fails from what I see. To do that simply add a Variable to the template with the Key: RFB_PORT and the Value: 5999 (or something other than 5900 which is the standard and fails).

Are you also sure that another container in your container network isn't also using the port 8080 if yes, you have to change the noVNC port too. You can do that by creating a Variable with the Key: NOVNC_PORT and the Value 8081 (or something else if something else is using port 8080 in the container network), but do keep in mind with that you change the port in the container to 8081 and is no longer 8080 anymore <- this is only important for the noVNC port and doesn't matter for the RFB_PORT.

Thank you so much for this!

It is now working perfectly routing through gluetun

Hey @ich777 first thanks for the years of effort that you've put into maintaining these images, much appreciated.

As others mentioned it seems that your changes last month stopped the default image viewer function working with JPEG files in the Krusader image.

This is a minor issue for me but guessing one option for a quick fix may be to just include a KDE image viewer like Gwenview on line 9 of the Dockerfile?
(unless there is another default one already installed somewhere in the base image we can point to maybe?)

https://github.com/ich777/docker-krusader/blob/master/Dockerfile

Just out of interest I tried the @binhex version of Krusader from community apps and that seems to have the same issue but unsure if that was always that way or not...

I might roll back to the Debian Bookworm version where everything was working, please give me a few days, I'm currently really busy.

Hi,

Is there a step-by-step / tutorial on how to setup RustDeskServer-AiO?

Just deploy the container and forward the ports in your firewall, done.

You then can connect to your RustDeskServer by using your Domain name, so to speak:
yourdomain.org

No subdomain needed or anything since only the IP address is resolved and then the connection is securely established with your public key (you see them in the container logs).

First, thank you for your work with these community apps, I use quite a few off them )

I recently installed RapidPhotoDownloader, and regarding the install.py from 0.9.34 seems to be the last release supporting this install method. the later releases .35 and .36 doesn't have this file.

Is it possible to update to newer versions using the same approach somehow?

Thanks

I'll take a look at this but this will definitely take some time.
