September 28, 20196 yr Hello, I recently rebooted my server. Since rebooting I noticed that it now thinks that I am using a trail key. I have not touched anything other than a reboot of the system. I have a full backup of the flash drive. Does anyone think that restoring this backup will fix the issue?
September 28, 20196 yr Community Expert I would suggest putting the flash drive into a PC/Mac and sunning a check on it. The symptoms suggest that the system has not managed to read the 'paid for' licence file so there may well be some corruption. If your backup is recent then an option is to reformat the flash drive and then put the backup onto it. Does the backup have the correct licence file for this flash drive? You probably also want to remove the trial key file to avoid any confusion. Edited September 28, 20196 yr by itimpi
September 28, 20196 yr Author Not sure what happened. I plugged in the drive to windows all the files were corrupted with random characters in the names and a trial key was in the config folder. I reformatted the drive and restored the backup. Everything is back to normal
