Parity drive in error state

Featured Replies

I added a second data drive to my unraid array and now my parity drive is in error state. I already tried rebuilding parity 3 times. That always gave me the parity state error at exactly '3.88 TB (96.9 %)'. Is my drive broken? I attached my diagnostics information. Help would be greatly appreciated.

It does appear to be a bad disk, run an extended SMART test.

Oh no :-(

How can I run an extended smart test?

On the main GUI page click on the device then scroll down to the Self-Test section.

Sorry for late reply but was away for the week, SMART test confirms you need to replace that disk.
