rickybello
hello, i hope someone could take their time and thanks in advance. i been using unraid for years without no problem whatsoever. recently i just upgrade the server to new board and CPU (ASRock X399 Taichi Version | AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2920X ) also upgrade PSU for a more demanding hardware. i already lost a drive and now today i lost my cache device (one of them and now it has "crc error count is 2"), i attached my system diagnostic. i hope someone could lend a hand. thanks. medianas-diagnostics-20190929-2245.zip Quote Link to comment
phbigred
CRC errors may be nothing more than a loose cable. The drive that died might be the same thing. Are you by chance using onboard connections that might be Marvell controllers? New board new connections might be something as simple as that. Quote Link to comment
Frank1940
Also, double check all Power connections to drives. SATA connectors are famous for their lack of retention force which often means when you have working with one connector, you might also be 'loosening' another nearby one. EDIT: I assume that you have read the Unraid Ryzen thread and have made any necessary BIOS changes. Edited September 30, 2019 by Frank1940 Quote Link to comment
