Persist IPTables Changes on reboot

Featured Replies

Hello!

I've made some manual changes to my iptables and I cannot seem to get them to persist on reboot however I noticed unraid seems to always have some default rules being added based on the docker containers and vms available.

I've looked up some slackware suggestions and people were recommending making a /etc/rc.d/rc.firewall file which can be used to "persist" rules but perhaps unraid already has a way and I'm unaware of it so I'm asking here.

What/Where should I add my rules to ensure they persist on reboot?

Thanks,

Brendan

The OS is in RAM so any changes you want must be reapplied at boot. See the User Scripts plugin.

This worked perfectly, and was easy as hell to implement. Thanks! @trurl
