ESXi and Unraid with a discrete GPU and no IGPU

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a AMD Ryzen 7 and a AMD RX580.    Is it possible to boot up ESXi and than pass my graphics card to my Unraid VM even though I don't have an iGPU?    Thanks!

Yes, this should be possible - the question is, why? What are you trying to achieve?

LOL.   Yeah that doesn't make now that I think about it sense since ESXi can handle the VMs.   I was originally concern if ESXi will complain if the only video card is removed from the host.
