Slow Response when transfering files

Featured Replies

So I am moving away from my QNAP setup to an unRaid setup. And I have got unRaid setup dockers running and now transfering files over to unRaid from my qnap. And I have noticed that when transferring heavy amount of files to unraid, everything seems to be slow to respond, but on my qnap I could transfer TB's of movies from my pc and this was never the issue.

My Setup

QNAP: Intel i5-4590S @ 3.00GHz (4 cores), 16GB ram, Raid6 (8x 8TB)

Unraid: AMD FX-9590 @ 4.7GHz (8 cores), 32GB ram, Single Parity(for now) (8TB), then 4x 8TB, 1x 6TB, 3x 4TB, Nvidia RTX2070.

I have about the same amount of dockers running in both.

Is this just an issue with the way unRaid is, Heavy Transfers bog the system down? Would installing a raid Cache Drive nvme help (512GB)?

Possibly this issue ....
