October 17, 20196 yr I'm running Unraid on an HP Microserver and have to say what a great bit of kit (I used to use FreeNAS). I've now got it all configured how I want it and realised an early bad decision is rearing it's ugly head. I am running the trial on a 128gb flash drive but don't want to register it using that flash drive.... and at the time of writing, I have 14 hours of the trial left. I don't want to lose my configuration either. What would you say is the best way forward for me? I plan to install another flashdrive over the weekend, install Unraid and purchase licence. How would I go about retaining my configuration from the 'trial' USB flash drive? Thanks 🙂
October 17, 20196 yr After 30 day Trial you can request up to x2 15 day extensions. You can go to Main/Flash and click Flash Backup. This will download a zip of entire flash contents which can be fed as input to Flash Creator tool in preparing the usb flash you want to use with a Basic/Plus/Pro key.
October 17, 20196 yr Community Expert If you have a licensed copy of Unraid on your new flash drive, then you can simply copy the ‘config’ folder from the old one to bring all your configuration information across.
