Need help for a first time NAS setup with unRaidOS

Featured Replies

So I'm looking forward to purchasing an unRaid key for unlimited storage and currently I have over 25 TB of storage (internal/external hard drives from over time) with loads of files - video content and photos mostly. Which I will transfer to a large array of new drives.

I plan on having my system as part of a home theatre system but also accessible via the net.

Basically, my Nas would be in a server chassis, locked away, cooled. And it'll be connected to a media pc that can encode media ranging in quality from 1080p to 4K and store it in my Nas server.

I wish to inquire on how I would go about setting up my NAS in what way (and what hardware) and how exactly I can host it online and connect it to local devices.
