"irq 16: nobody cared found on your server" in Fix Common Problems

Featured Replies

I'm new to Unraid and this is my first server build. So far it's been going very well, but today I got an error in Fix Common Problems : "irq 16: nobody cared found on your server". I had this error come up once a week ago, but I forgot to save diagnostics and hadn't seen it since. The plugin suggested I post my diagnostics here before ignoring the error. It cropped up while I was in the process of replacing my parity drive with a new 10TB WD EMAZ drive that I ran through preclear twice with full pass. I pulled the old 8TB parity drive and started the array to get parity check going on the new drive. Then I manually started up Sonarr, SABnzbd, and plex dockers. There was an Ubuntu 18.04 VM running through a Zotac GeForce GT 710 video card. Now I'm having some strange behavior where my dockers and community apps pages won't refresh. They start to, but it just sits in process and never brings up the tab content again. Diagnostics are here:

I've also had an issue where Windows will see the server in Network, but won't let me connect to it. I get the error "Error code: 0x80070035. The network path was not found." I can access the server shares by typing its IP address into Windows Explorer, so I haven't been worrying about it too much. Not sure if it's related, but figured I'd mention it. Id appreciate any help or troubleshooting steps to try, diagnostics are attached. I'm pretty new to this stuff but learning as fast as I can.

If everything is working fine you can ignore, nothing critical is using IRQ16.

This is usually a WIN10 issue when they turned off SMBv1 support.  You can find more info here:

Okay thanks, I'll keep an eye on it to see if I have continuing performance issues. The error reocurred sometime last night, but everything seems to be working fine now. I was poking around in the diagnostic logs and right after the error it lists what I'm assuming are the interrupts with 16 corresponding to "IR-IO-APIC  16-fasteoi   ehci_hcd:usb1". Does that mean there's an issue with a usb-handling part of the motherboard? I also get this line highlighted red in the syslog:

Oct 21 08:21:23 BlackBox root: DFR: 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 Deferred Error APIC interrupts

Nice!! That looks like it solved my problem. Network is private with your settings, everyone is on the same workgroup, and SMBv1 is installed. Now it's connecting and letting me log in to view my files. Thanks!!

Most likely, bios update can help.

Okay, thanks. I'm pretty sure I have the latest bios installed, but I'll double check when I get home. I guess I'll ignore the error for now unless I start to see any performance problems.
