Hello, 

 

I am Brew_WY. I have been kicking around the idea of building a home NAS set up for a couple years. But do to some recent recovery events with my wife's PC, I have decided sooner is better than later. My intended use of the server would be two-fold with it being a media server as well as a storage backup for my PC's. I am just now wading in to figuring out what I will need for hardware to have this built the way I want it. The draw for me to come to UNRAID was the fact I could always expand my storage needs later without the need to completely redo the server. Looking forward to building something new and getting some advice on hardware to do it.
