I'm currently running a trial Unraid and seriously considering moving away from Qnap to Unraid. I have found most of the info, I'm just stuck with SATA card.

My Mobo has 6 sata ports but I will be installing 8-10 HDD and 1-2 SSD. I have read many articles talking about Dell H310, LSI cards, genuine vs fake etc..

Couldn't find a recommendation list from the Unraid docs.

I would like to get a 8 port card- Is a cheapie from Ebay OK?

I do want something reliable so happy for people to through recommendations on P/N's !
