JustOverride
UNRAID found some errors via the SMART reporting. One of them is from an SSD (currently on unassigned device) as shown below: The second is my array first disk HDD. Are these errors I can expect to find that the HDD auto corrects and everything is fine or is it something serious and I should look into replacing them? I'm sorry, I'm not sure what to look for in the S.M.A.R.T. data from the drives. Edited January 25, 2021 by XiuzSu Quote Link to comment
testdasi
As always, Tools -> Diagnostics -> attach zip file (preferably to your first post). Quote Link to comment
JustOverride
Certainly! I've uploaded the diagnostics file on my first post. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
CRC errors a connection problem, usually the SATA cable, a single error is no reason for concern and note that CRC errors don't reset, so as long as it doesn't keep increasing nothing to worry about, if it does replace the SATA cable. The error is disk1 is not so good, but the disk should be OK for now, run an extended SMART test and if it doesn't fail just keep an eye on it. Quote Link to comment
