no matter what i try, i cannot get keys to map properly in a linux vm, i’ve tried changing the keyboard map in the xml file, i’ve tried changing it in the VM, i’ve tried changing it in the VNC client.

 

im using Jump Desktop in iOS and can’t select things like semicolon or brackets unless i use the built in keyboard with shift pressed and also the vnc clients soft shift key.  just using the standard ios shift doesn’t give me the correct key press.

 

any ideas?

nobody else has this issue on iOS with on screen keyboard?
