Docker Port Mappings

I'm coming from running a hypervisor with a dedicated docker VM.

 

With many containers that expose web ports, I do not map a port to the container form the host at all, and let my web container proxy traffic via internal docker networking.

 

I am using the custom docker network "br0" which is my network so they will have inter docker networking (Was told to do this via LSIO) 

 

However it seems unraid uses docker inspect on the container images and auto applies port mappings?  or does it only display this in the docker page?

 

I'd like many of my containers to have no port mappings, is this possible?
