Party check scheduling issue

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm running unRaid 6.7.2 Stable.

I've noticed a problem with the parity check scheduler not functioning properly.

Its currently set to run a check monthly. However, the parity check runs every Sunday morning and I get a report emailed. Its always been running every Sunday even though its set to monthly, so this is not a new problem. Just reporting it now ;)

Looking for some help to figure it out...

Thanks!

Make a change to the schedule, then revert the change and apply.  Should be fixed.  There was a rc in either 6.6 or 6.7 that messed up the schedule.

Thanks, I'll try that again. Had done it a couple of times in the past but didn't work. Will know how it goes this weekend :)

The parity check was supposed to run on Nov 1, as configured in scheduler, but didn't. Instead, it ran on Sunday, which is the built-in default.

So the issue still persists.

Can you post a screenshot of your schedule settings, and the output of

cat /etc/cron.d/root

The parity check ran again last night, got an email confirmation

I don't know.  Personally, I have mine set to Custom and running on the first Saturday of the month to take advantage of lower hydro rates

I disabled the parity check in scheduler for a couple of weeks, but it still ran every Sunday LOL!!

Not sure what to do... I've enabled it again for Monthly but doubt it will work
