usb uefi boot (solved)

Featured Replies

Hi all.

when I created my usb unraid drive I didn't put a tick in for uefi. This worked on the Heinz 57 pc I was testing on but when I then moved to a dell t430 (taking all the disks and cache drives) it will only boot in normal mode if I specify a drive each boot.I created another unraid usb with uefi ticked and that works ok.Is it possible to turn uefi on on my original unraid boot usb?

Simply rename the EFI- folder on the USB flash to EFI (without the hyphen at the end).
