LGA 1567 for unraid

Featured Replies

A quick search didn't come up with any answers on here so sorry if this is a common question.

I have noticed the very cheap price of LGA 1567 CPUs and pulled motherboards and I was wondering if I could make it work. Everywhere online they are talking about how you need the actual blade in order to get io and PCIe slots but I really don't care about any of that as I want to use it for unraid.

Would I be able to run it or will it just not boot at all without the rest of the server?

Also is there any other cheap alternatives that would give me 32+ cores?
