(SOLVED) [6.7.2] Dynamix Active Streams plugin user "nobody"

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've notices by looking at the Dynamix Active Streams plugin that user "nobody" is accessing private user share with with no guest access, I don't have a user named nobody soI guess that must be some kind of bug in the plugin?

Anyone else seeing this?

'nobody' is a pseudo user that is often used by Linux systems and Unraid is one of them.  (In fact, all of the array files are owned by 'nobody'. )  In theory, 'nobody' has the least privileges on the Linux system in contrast to 'root' which has the most.

You can find the list of all users on your system with the command:

cat /etc/passwd

Ok, I see.

But I only see user nobody occasionally, and most of the time I check Dynamix Active Streams it shows the real usernames?
