Sh4des
Hi guys, using unraid 6.7.2 for a while now, love using it, it's changed the way i use my server. I've just now restarted the server after the gui played up on the docker tab, but the array wont start anymore. I've disabled autostart and restarted with the drives in maintenance mode (and then run the file system check from the disk properties in the GUI), but no luck with getting it started again. Please assist. I've attached my diagnostics report to dropbox https://www.dropbox.com/transfer/cap_pid_ft%3AAAAAAHV1li6Wo53POnhFraCwCIp94urEcMJR-8h1mIcEi1bWgODNy60 Quote Link to comment
trurl
In future, attach to post in the forum instead of linking an external site. According to those diagnostics, your array IS started. Post a screenshot of Main - Array Devices. Quote Link to comment
Sh4des
I get the message "Array is starting....mounting disks" status in the status bar, but none of the shares are accessible over SMB, and the VMs and dockers haven't started (their services are unavailable). Here's the screenshot Quote Link to comment
Sh4des
After changing tabs away from MAIN and back again Quote Link to comment
Squid
First thing to do is restart the system and select safe mode from the boot menu to see if there's any difference Quote Link to comment
Sh4des
The array does start in safe mode - am i correct to assume this is a dodgy package? It also starts in maintenance mode (but then obviously i can't use the data volumes, docker containers or virtual machines). Im going to try a full reboot after a successful safe-mode startup, see if it still works. Edited November 10, 2019 by Sh4des Quote Link to comment
Sh4des
These are my startup options in normal boot mode. I run the pc headless, i dont care about local gui - i only access it via the browser and im not afraid to get into the terminal via ssh Quote kernel /bzimage append pcie_acs_override=downstream,multifunction initrd=/bzroot pti=off spectre_v2=off l1tf=off mds=off nospec_store_bypass_disable no_stf_barrier Safe mode (gui, no plugins) Quote kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot,/bzroot-gui unraidsafemode Quote Link to comment
itimpi
You could try adding the same options to a safe mode boot to see if any of those boot options are relevant or if it a plugin causing the problem.. ideally you would make a copy of the safe mode and add the options to that so you have the standard safe mode and your amended version available.
