Sleep mode settings possible?

Featured Replies

Hi,

i like to setup a sleep mode to save some energy. I already downloaded the app "Sleep Settings". There are two main settings "Wait for array inactivity" and "Wait for network inactivity". The server only goes into sleep mode with "Wait for array inactivity" (seems like there is always silent traffic over the network). A extra delay after array inactitvity can be maximum set to 90.

My problem is that as long my work PC is on the server should also be on otherwise i get failures with some programs that require data from the server. Is there a possible solution for my needs?

You can raise the "network idle threshold" and enter the IP address of your PC under "wait for device inactivity".

As long as your PC is online, the server will not go to sleep.
