irq 16: nobody cared found on your server

Featured Replies

SInce last week Fix common problem plugin is showing the following error:

irq 16: nobody cared found on your server You should post your diagnostics and seek assistance from the forums before deciding to ignore this error. The interrupts in use have been logged to assist in diagnosis

Please advise how serious is it.

My system diagnostics are attached.

That seems to happen when spurious interrupts are detected but no handler is installed to deal with them. If nothing is using IRQ 16 then it's more of an annoyance than a problem. Did you make any changes last week, when the errors started? You could try following the advice in the error message:

Nov 11 14:57:42 GRIG kernel: irq 16: nobody cared (try booting with the "irqpoll" option)
