sonicsjuuh
Hey guys. I'm building my rig as we speak, and i'm trying to figure some things out. My question is basicly as the title stated. I have unraid running 24/7 on my gaming system. But i need to access another browser to activate my gaming VM so my Windows 10 would start. Is there any way to configure, while my unraid is running 24/7 on the system, to link the hardware "power-on" button of that same system, to activate my gaming VM? That would be not only great, but pretty cool. Thanks for any info in advance! Quote Link to comment

bastl
@sonicsjuuh Just as an option, you can also use a plugin and the App ControIR to Start/Restart/Stop your VMs or Dockers via phone. Quote Link to comment
glennv
I think this is the best solution to push the hardware button that eventualy starts the VM. Quote Link to comment
bastl
I guess this doesn't fit under his desk 😂 Quote Link to comment
aim60
Another option is the Virtual Machine Wake on Lan plugin, and a wol app on your phone or tablet. I’m using the “WOL” app on an ipad. Quote Link to comment
