Capt Obvious 33
So my original USB drive died... only about 4 months using it. I replaced it last night, installed my license, and went to start my array and it was warning me about erasing data. I went to the subreddit and after checking my drives using "unassigned devices" docker, I correctly identified the 1 parity disk, and 3 data disks and also the order they were in. I did as suggested, correctly assigning the drives and starting the array with "parity is valid" and the array starts, but says all three data drives need formatted. I've since stopped the array and I'm hoping someone can help me get it started without needing to format my drives. Quote Link to comment

Capt Obvious 33
so I restarted the server and magically it all came back. on an unrelated note is there a file manager that works well in unraid to natively interact with the array? Rather than share folders over the network to edit them. Quote Link to comment
John_M
Many people use Midnight Commander (mc) from the command line. It provides a text-based menu driven interface, which avoids a lot of typing. If you want something more graphical with drag and drop capabilities take a look at the Krusader docker container.
