November 14, 20196 yr Hello, I'm trying to loop my Nvidia GTX 1050TI into a Windows 10 VM. M/B: MSI Z270-A PRO (MS-7A71) Version 1.0 - s/n: H716692788 BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. Version 1.40. Dated: 11/17/2017 CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-6400T CPU @ 2.20GHz HVM: Enabled IOMMU: Enabled I dumped the BIOS after a guide from Spaceinvader One and integrated it. Graphics card and audio device can also be assigned to the machine. The VM also starts, but is very slow and the graphics are terrible. When trying to update or install the drivers, the connection (Teamviewer and Ping) always breaks down and/or the machine crashes. GPU Slot 1 is not occupied, the card is in GPU Slot 2. Is it otherwise possible to output the UnRAID CLI via onboard and use the graphics card only for the VM? Can I install the drivers only when the card is inserted, or should I have done this before? In the appendix a logfile. tower-diagnostics-20191114-1744.zip
November 16, 20196 yr Author Anybody have any ideas? I tested the graphics card again in the first slot (with and without HDMI fake plug). The VM boots, I get access via RDP and the card is displayed under VGA as Microsoft Remote Adapter. If I then try to install the drivers by automatic search, then the RDP connection breaks off and I can no longer ping the machine. BIOS is set to display Internal Graphics, CLI from UnRAID shows up. I do not want to use the GPU for displaying something, only for Plex Transcoding. Edited November 16, 20196 yr by aurevo
